My Home
- Dream Home - I
found my dream home, a 200 year-old log cabin in the country with a
barn, meadow, creek and woods. Have a look at the way it looked when I
first saw it.
- Happy Hollow
- More pictures, I got a digital camera and started taking lots of
pictures of my home, my land, the animals, trees, whatever.
- Foggy Bottom -
there's something so beautiful and mysterious about fog.
- The Blizzard of Christmas Day 2002 -
Happy Hollow all dressed in white.
- Abandoned History - A classic old Pennsylvania
style bank barn burned down up the road and as I explored the ruins I also found an old
1750 log cabin near it that had been abandoned.
- Night Garden - I
took some photos of my clematis in full bloom just at dusk with the
flash so the color would really pop and the background go dark. It
came out so cool I went nuts shooting pics all over my garden.
- The Garden Grows
- In more ways than one. Most recent additions to the local
landscape.
- A Spring Walk in the Meadow (with Dogs) - There is just something about
the vibrant colors of spring, especially after a long cold gray winter.
- Hurricane Ivan
Doesn't Diminish Fall Splendor - 2004. Hurricane Ivan surprised everyone here when it
joined up with a cold front to produce an historic downpour, causing massive flooding
and put on a fall blooming spectacular unmatched in recent memory.
The Critters
Ever have one of those days when you just feel old? I sometimes
look at these pictures of my vanished youth to remind me of my glory days. The
irony is I'm much happier now, I was miserable when these were shot, a very
unhappy camper.
A gallery of pseudo-art. I needed something to put in the rustic
barn wood frames I've been making from the leftover parts of my barn, so I used
the power of technology to convert some of my photos into faux paintings. These
look great when printed on textured paper.
